The Melody Censor

It has been 476 days since my last official HNT, and nearly that long since I blogged with any sort of regularity. It seems a little like I dropped off the planet rather than just moving to the middle of nowhere. I am however very much alive and well.

I am back in the city I went to high school in (I use the term 'city' loosely - I'd hardly call 60 000 retired farmers and young breeders a city), working for Mr J's parents - neither of which I can say I love. I do, however, have much on the horizon. I am looking to make the move West to Vancouver Island in the next few months; I have had enough of the horrible weather changes of the prairies causing me more than my fair share of pressure headaches.

I've also found my passion in life: photography. Which, to be honest, is a large part of why I don't blog much any more. I am still very much an internet junkie, but these days I spend much of my time on my Flickr site. HNT helped me discover this passion actually. It also helped me develop a penchant for self portraits, which I have been taking daily for over a year and a half now.

So, if you're ever in the Flickr neck of the woods, drop by and say hello! (Or you could all drop by and say happy birthday...because I turn 30 tomorrow, the 16th! )
